Jennifer’s stint in Bollywood
Few people know that Jennifer Winget did not make her acting debut on TV. She first appeared on screen as a child actor in the film Akele Hum Akele Tum, that was released in 1995. Two years later, she once again featured as a child actor in the 1997 film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. She then played supporting roles in two Bollywood films, 2000’s Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya and 2003’s Kuch Naa Kaho. She finally received her first lead role in a Bollywood film in Phir Se.
Phir Se started production in 2014 and a trailer for the film was shared on April 7, 2015. However, the movie was pushed for unrevealed reasons, likely due to unspecified production troubles. The movie was initially set to release in 2015 but was pushed back for three years. Phir Se was never shown in theatres.
