Kaivalya is a student pursuing chemical engineering in Mumbai. He was reportedly trained by his mother, Sadhna Kejkar. The aspiring artist expressed his excitement over performing at Indian Idol in a recent interview with a leading media portal. He spoke about how he would attend multiple auditions without informing his family. He also spoke about facing multiple rejections before getting selected in the top 30 of Indian Idol. When he was selected, he called up his family and all he could hear was screams of happiness. Kaivalya Kejkar also spoke about accepting failures. According to him, he had to attend around 35 different competitions before getting selected in Indian Idol 11. He also got rejected by the Marathi music reality show, Sangeet Samath Season 2, which completely shattered his hopes at one point. He also added that each audition taught him something or the other and also challenged him to push his limits.

Neha Kakkar forcefully kissed by Indian Idol 11 contestant

In a recent episode of Indian Idol 11, the judge of the show, Neha Kakkar, was forcibly kissed by a contestant. The musician was being hugged by a fan on stage when he suddenly pecked the singer on her cheek. Neha Kakkar looked visibly annoyed at the incident. Following the incident, co-judge of the show, Vishal Dadlani, took to Twitter to express his disbelief and anger. He was about to approach the cops but Neha Kakkar apparently let the contestant off the hook. The incident was called a “publicity stunt” by a number of netizens while some felt sympathetic towards Neha Kakkar.
