Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the oldest game shows in the Indian television which is hosted by the superstar of Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan. KBC has successfully made its way up to 11 seasons. It has also received good word of mouth and viewership in the country which has made it very popular among the viewers over the last few years. It is considered as a great platform for citizens from all over the country. All the qualifying participants are asked multiple questions on the show for which they receive cash prizes. The level of difficulty keeps on increasing concerning the cash prize as one goes on answering the questions correctly. Here is every information regarding the registration procedure of the show.
Important dates of KBC registration:
One needs to make sure that they don’t miss the dates of the KBC registration. For this year the registration portal (SMS & App) was open from 21:00:00 hours on May 1, 2019. This was the day when the first question went on air for all the viewers. The process is similar almost every year.

One can register by answering the on-air question through an SMS and by answering the question on the App. The registration details for registration through an SMS is given below:

Sony Liv Application
Following are the steps to follow for participating via the Sony Liv App:
- Download the Sony Liv application from the application store or play store. Please note, the application download is free of cost.
- In the next, step you are required to put your email ID and mobile number. The registration desk people will be able to get in touch with you only if the mobile number provided by you is registered with the service provider of India.
- After that, you are required to select your age from the options provided. One can only participate in the show if they have completed 18 years of age.
- Later, you are required to select your gender between Male, Female, and Others.
- After this, you have to select your education between Graduate and Non-Graduate.
- In the next step, you are required to select your occupation as per the options Professional, Business/Trader, Service, Student, farmer, and Others.
- Later, you are required to choose the zone where you are located at like Mumbai, Delhi, etc.
- In the last step, you have to select your answer option (A/B/C/D) for the general knowledge-based competition question to complete the registration process. Once you have submitted the answer, you will see a confirmation screen confirming the registration.
