Mukesh Khanna cheers Shaktimaan's return, claims kids today need 'maarg darshan'

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna feels happy that 'Shaktimaan' will return to the lives of kids amid national lockdown as he calls it a 'blessing in disguise'.

Confirming reports about return of Indian's original superhero Shaktimaan on television amid nationwide lockdown, veteran actor Mukesh Khanna expressed his happiness over news and stated that screening iconic 90s cult show for present generation is need of hour.

Mukesh Khanna, in an interview with an entertainment portal, said that today's kids need more 'maarg darshan' (guidance) than y did in 90s. actor also revealed that people from all over country had demanded return of classic TV show amid lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

Ramayana and Mahabharat, two of most popular shows from golden era of television, have already made a comeback on small screen to entertain audiences in confines of ir homes as y practise self-isolation amid coronavirus outbreak in country.  shows have brought forth popular demands for or TV shows that were household regulars in 90s. Shaktimaan, however, had topped list and is w all set to make a comeback.

Shaktimaan would conclude every episode with an educative segment called 'Chhoti chhoti magar moti baatein' where children would receive value education through small anecdotes by Mukesh Khanna dressed as Shaktimaan. 61-year-old actor shared that lockdown is a blessing in disguise for children of today's generations as y can learn moral values as y stay at home with ir families.
