Nach Baliye 9: Prince's unprecedented run continues, quips after win

The ninth season of the popular dance reality TV show, Nach Baliye, came to an end on November 3, 2019. The winners of this season were Prince Narula and his wife Yuvika Chaudhary. Soon after their win, the couple featured in an interview with a news daily, where they spoke about the world of reality TV and joked that no show would approach the couple now.

Nach Baliye 9 is not the only reality show that Prince Narula has won. Previously, he has also been declared the winner of three other popular reality TV shows, Bigg Boss 9, Roadies 2015 and Spiltsvilla 8. Due to his multiple wins, Prince Narula joked during the interview that no new show would approach him now because he would likely win once again.

After winning Nach Baliye 9, Yuvika Chaudhary, wife and dance partner of Prince Narula, also spoke about the reality TV industry to the news daily. Yuvika said that she found reality TV to be a good stepping stone for newscomers to be welcomed into the entertainment industry. She began her career through the reality TV industry in 2004, where she was one of the contestants for the show Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj. 

It is rumoured that Yuvika and Prince Narula got into a relationship on Bigg Boss 9, where they were both competing against each other. Both Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary entered the show on day 1, however, Yuvika was eliminated by day 28 while Prince Narula went on to win that season of Bigg Boss. Prince Narula and Yuvika took their relationship a step forward after Bigg Boss 9 and got married in 2018.

Prince and Yuvika were announced as the winners on Sunday and the official social media handle of Star Plus, congratulated them for their win. Here is the announcement of the winners shared online. Glimpses of the final dance performance by Prince Narula and Yuvika can also be seen.

Nach Baliye 9 is not the only show that has been eventful this week. Bigg Boss 13 also recently had its mid-season finale on Sunday. The elimination of fan favourite contestants Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shefali Bagga, was a controversial twist on Bigg Boss 13.
