Nakuul Mehta recently took to his Instagram story to comment on going matter of Zaan Khan and Hamari Bahu Silk cast. actor shared a newspaper cutting that has an interview of Zaan Khan talking about leaving Mumbai as he has money to pay his rent. Nakuul Mehta also wrote a poignant statement regarding same.
Nakuul Mehta’s te re, “Have been following ir struggle for a while w. This is T done. Absolutely unfair by producers/makers of show. In fact, re has to be a mechanism where network pitches in to find a resolution. Hamari Bahu Silk's cast struggling to make ends meet
Zee TV's popular soap opera Hamari Bahu Silk's cast and crew, including veteran actor Sarita Joshi, have time and again spoken about t receiving dues for over a year. Being out of work due to COVID-19 pandemic, many actors are struggling to keep up with ir finances. w, le actor Zaan Khan revealed that he h to sell one of his cars to make ends meet.

Hamari Bahu Silk actors h earlier approached Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) and local police for help regarding ir unpaid dues. A week ago, several actors along with a few crew members also std a protest outside residence of one of producers, Devyani Rale.

w, on Thursday, a few members of cast and crew showed up at Dar's Shiv Sena Bhavan, Mumbai, to discuss ir plight with party officials. When asked about ir visit to Shiv Sena Bhavan, during an interview with a daily, male le of show, Zaan Khan said that he wouldn't want to comment on it.

However, discussing his plight in detail, Zaan expressed saying y worked on show for almost a year, whereas y got paid for just a month. He ded saying y pleed producers of show, Devyani Rale, Jyoti Gupta & Sudhanshu Tripathi, and tried to get ir dues cleared, but in vain. Elaborating more about ir furr plans, 27-year-old stated that y have planned to st yet ar protest outside Devyani’s new residence, where she has shifted a while ago.
