'Obi-Wan' Disney+ series put on hold indefinitely; script being reworked

Star Wars creator George Lucas' Lucasfilm has reportedly taken matter into his own hands post debacle of Star Wars: Rise Of Skywalker. latest instalment in Star Wars saga was received with abysmal reviews which have evidently divided fanbase to some extent.

Obi-Wan series put on-hold by Disney

Diseny+ Obi-Wan series is expected to mark return of Evan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kebi. But earlier this week, rumours about show being cut down from six episodes down to four episodes started to go around internet. As per reports, crew of show was present at Pinewood Studios in London but were asked to leave set. crew was reportedly told that production will be down for an indefinite period of time.

Major changes are reportedly being made to Obi-Wan show. current president of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy was reportedly dissatisfied with creative decisions made with character of Obi-Wan Kebi in script. scripts are reportedly being worked on heavily to alter various storylines in series. makers of show were reportedly concerned about having striking similarities with Mandalorian. Obi-Wan series was reportedly going to feature Evan McGregor's Kebi guiding a young Luke on his journey to understand force. definite release date for Obi-Wan Kebi series has been finalized yet.
