'Ramayan' actor Deepika Chikhlia says people should stop replicating the show

Deepika Chikhlia h immortalized role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar's cult show Ramayan. Ramayan started airing amidst coronavirus lockdown after 33 years and die-hard fans of show were overjoyed by this. Ramayan recently gained more than 7 crore viewership and reportedly broke record of popular show Game Of Thrones. Deepika Chikhlia recently spoke in an interview with an online portal about massive success of show along with need for it to stop being replicated every year.

Deepika Chikhlia revealed in interview that she does t kw why people make Ramayan every year. Deepika Chikhalia furr said that people should stop replicating show which is alrey re as simplicity, performances and narration n fails to strike a chord with masses. Deepika Chikhlia also spoke about receiving royalties when show is replicated. 

Deepika Chikhalia said that after putting 30 years of ir career in show, Ramayan, y should receive royalties once show is again replicated. Deepika Chikhlia ded how despite Ramayan being replicated every year, y did t get royalties and that government should intervene and give it to m.

Deepika Chikhlia spoke about massive success of show

Deepika Chikhlia said that re were some people who laughed off saying that show was 'never-ending' and that y were ashamed to mit that y were fans of show. Deepika Chikhlia ded how re were some people who found show 'funny' and revealed that re grandparents or in-laws were fans of Ramayan but were ashamed to mit that y were her fans.  Deepika Chikhlia said that she felt that only elderly people followed show Ramayan and were her fans inste of younger generation.

However looking at tremendous success of show w, Deepika Chikhlia ded that she can proudly say that even millennials are following Ramayan. Deepika said that current generation who are following Ramayan are sensible and sensitive. She also ded that y are giving required respect to show.
