Rupali Ganguly's Family Drama: Anupamaa actress has been in news lately owing to her stepdaughter Esha Verma who me serious allegations against her. After being continuously targeted by Esha, Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation suit against her, demanding ₹50 crore compensation and a public apology. Following this, Esha took down her videos from Instagram and me her profile private.

In latest development, Esha Verma has shared a video after defamation suit against her on Instagram and talked about going "private" for some time. For unversed, Esha is daughter of Rupali's husband Ashwin Verma from his second wife Sapna.

On November 14, Esha took to her Instagram handle and dropped a video on her story where she thanked her followers for supporting her. She also opened up about her whereabouts that she resides in America and how things are different re in comparison to India. She began her video by saying, "Hi everybody. It’s Esha here and I just want to say thank you all for being so kind and supportive and sweet. It means world to me. And I’m just going to be private for a little bit just for my sake. And we’re just moving forward from here."

She continued by reminding her followers of her whereabouts, “And just to remind everybody, I’m in America so things are a little bit different here, and we’re more protected. And whatever it is, I just want to say this community we’re building is so beautiful and I’ve been looking at everyone’s profiles. re’s so much great energy. And if you’re going to be negative, I’m just gonna block you or take you off, just letting you know. But sending so much love. You guys should be so proud of yourselves. You are incredible."

Esha Verma shares that she is going to be offline for 'something'

In anor Instagram Story, she said, "I might be a little bit limited with my responses because I am going to be a little bit offline for something. I would love to chat with you. Seriously. Don’t feel afraid to talk to me, I just won’t talk about certain topics, so just be prepared for that."

About Rupali Ganguly's defamation case against Esha Verma

legal notice was in response to Esha's 'false and damaging statements' and step was taken to protect her reputation. notice was sent by Ganguly's lawyer, Sana Raees Khan. In notice, it has been mentioned that Rupali Ganguly underwent mental trauma because of which she h to seek medical assistance and that she was humiliated on set and lost professional opportunities. It is also said that Ganguly wanted to maintain a 'dignified silence' but was compelled to initiate defamation notice because of how she and Ashwin Verma's 11-year-old son were dragged.

Ganguly, through her lawyer, has claimed compensation of ₹50 crore, which her stepdaughter is liable to pay. She has also asked for an unconditional public apology immediately, failing which Ganguly has threatened legal measures.
