Sonakshi Sinha's 'gaffe': Amitabh Bachchan's funny message to her mom

To be on the top of the Twitter trends for more than a day requires special efforts. Sonakshi Sinha did enjoy this privilege, however, it was all for the wrong reasons when social media took on her with hilarious reactions after she failed to answer a question on Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. But what many might have missed was that Amitabh Bachchan’s response was almost on the lines of the trolls, though his trademark style didn’t sound too stinging like the netizens. Big B was equally surprised with Sonakshi’s failure to answer the question on Ramayana, since her house and even her family members were named after characters from the mythology. The video of Amitabh Bachchan sweetly trolling Sonakshi Sinha in front of her mother is also going viral now.

Sonakshi had failed to answer the question, "According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani buti (herb) for whom?" and had taken a lifeline to answer from the options: Sugriva, Lakshmana, Sita and Rama. She had accompanied a contestant. After taking 'Expert advice', she was relieved and said:

“I was thinking that the answer was Lakshman, but I was so nervous for her, so I didn’t want to make a mistake.""

Big B, however, said, "Your father’s name is Shatrughan. All your uncles are all associated with the Ramayana.”

Amitabh Bachchan then asks the actress to mention the names of Shatrughan Sinha’s brothers, Ram, Lakshman and Bharat. “The house that you stay in is named Ramayana. You didn’t know Hanuman brought the jatibooti for Lakshman.”

Sonakshi Sinha then cuts in, “Even my brothers’ names are Luv and Kush.” She then says, “It seems you all are decided that I’ll get a beating for this. It seems the gates of Ramayana will be closed for me.

Amitabh Bachchan then speaks to Poonam Sinha, who is also present in the audience. “Please don’t this telecast this to my brother (Shatrughan Sinha). Wherever he might be addressing a political event, he will leave everything and come here.”

After almost a day after Sonakshi Sinha trended on Twitter, she hit back with a hilarious tweet and asked the netizens to make memes on her lack of knowledge in Mathematics and Literature too. She wrote, “Dear jaage hue trolls.I don't even remember the Pythagoras theorem,Merchant of Venice,Periodic Table,Chronology of the Mughal Dynasty,aur kya kya yaad nahi woh bhi yaad nahi. Agar aapke paas koi kaam nahi aur Itna time hai toh please yeh sab pe bhi memes banao na. I love memes.”
