Shailesh Lodha is an Indian poet, actor, comedian and writer. He is best known for portraying Taarak Mehta in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Since he left the show in 2022, fans have been waiting for his return on television. Well, the wait is over as he is set to return as Ramesh Patel in the newly released series Advocate Anjali Awasthi.

The new show promo shared on social media reveals Shailesh Lodha as Ramesh Patel, an advocate who assists Anjali with her latest case. Shailesh also shared the news with a few clips on his Instagram.
Advocate Anjali Awasthi is a recently launched TV series, airing since August. It follows the journey of lawyer Anjali Awasthi, who is determined to restore her family's honour and make a name for herself. Driven by her ambition, she takes on a challenging case that could be her breakthrough. With Shailesh Lodha’s entry into the show, his character supports Anjali, much like Shri Krishna guided Arjun in the Mahabharat.
Fans reacted to Shailesh's Instagram post after seeing the promo. One user wrote, "Mehta saheb kaha aagya aap... Fire brigade ki acchi khasi naukri chorke." Another commented, "Vah Mehta sahab Tarak Mehta chod diya but Anjali bhabhi ka sath nahi choda." A third said, "Really excited to see you back in a fiction TV series sir."
