In a massive development, Home Ministry on June 29 banned 59 Chinese apps including video-sharing app TikTok. Recently, a popular creator of TikTok Arpit Ranka among ors reacted to this ban by sharing a video on TikTok application. Ranka was also a part of popular show Mahabharat.

Indian creator Arpit Ranka also posted two videos regarding TikTok ban. In his video, he is asking his fans to follow Government’s decision as every individual should keep ir nation before anything. Arpit Ranka also urged fans to follow him on or social media applications. Arpit Ranka has 1.4 M followers on TikTok. He also has a verified account of Instagram with 295K followers.

India bans 59 Chinese apps
In a big development, amid on-going India-China border tensions, Home Minister on Monday banned 59 Chinese Apps including Tik-Tok. According to Centre, it received many complaints from various sources including several reports about misuse of se apps for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorised manner to servers that have locations outside India. government banned apps in order to protect sovereignty of Indian Cyber and to ensure interests of crores of Indian mobile users. banned applications include TikTok, Shein, Romwe, UC Browser among ors.

Within hours of being banned by Indian Government along with 58 or China-origin apps, TikTok India on Tuesday has issued a statement. Nikhil Gandhi, He of TikTok India, has said that app is in process of complying with government's 'interim order'.
