JD Majethia confirms Film City has begun approving the shoot of TV shows
Recently, IFTPC chairman JD Majethia talked about Film City beginning to approve the shoot of TV serials, as per the new protocol; shoots will start in a week.

Recently, in an interview with a leading news portal, producer-actor JD Majethia, who is also chairman of Indian Film & Television Producers' Council (IFTPC) for TV division, confirmed that TV shows will start rolling in a week. JD Majethia also talked about resuming shoot of Sony TV's popular comedy show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In his furr conversation, JD Majethia revealed that team of his show, Bhakarwadi, is waiting to get permission from district collector of Mira Road as its set is built re.

Resuming shoots of TV serials update
In interview, JD Majethia added that makers of five daily soaps had sent ir appeal in first week of June. And, were granted approval in past two days. He asserted that once production company of a serial procures permission, y can start shooting any time. He stated that makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will get approval soon. He concluded saying that shows should start rolling in a week.

report quoted him saying that Film City is granting permission gradually and ensuring that protocols are being followed. He mentioned that permission for those wanting to shoot outside Film City will start coming in soon. Reportedly, Film City set ball rolling as it gave a go-ahead to several television shows. report suggested that family-drama serials such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Naagin 5, Choti Sarrdaarni and Barrister Babu have received permission to re-start shoot.

Well, on May 31, state government anunced resumption of film, television and OTT shoots. anuncement highlighted that crew and producers have to follow new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to conduct shoots within city. anuncement also stated that producer will have to seek permission from managing director of Maharashtra Film, atre and Cultural Development Corporation (Film City). According to anuncement, only 33% of standard operation unit can work on set.
