Actor Vikas Sethi, who essayed the role of Robbie in the Karan Johar directorial Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham died at the age of 48 on Sunday., September 8. Reportedly, he suffered a cardiac arrest. Vikas' funeral was held in Mumbai on Monday and was attended by family members and some TV celebs he worked with in the past. After his untimely demise, a post shared by Sethi about Sidharth Shukla's death has gone viral on social media.

What is Vikas Sethi's post about Sidharth Shukla?

On September 2, 2021, Vikas mourned the passing of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla writing on his Instagram, "Life can change in the blink of an eye, In one moment, you went from being a person to becoming a memory. You're a memory I will treasure forever. RIP. Yaar tuu khaan gyaa rasta bol de milta hoon waha." Vikas also posted a picture in which he was seen partying with Sidharth and some other friends.

Vikas Sethi laid to rest

Vikas Sethi was laid to rest in Mumbai on Monday, September 9. A video shared by Viral Bhayani showed the late actor's family gathered for his last rites. Vikas' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co-star Hiten Tejwani and Shabir Ahluwalia, Sharad Kelkar also arrived to offer their condolences.

A portion of the clip saw Vikas' mother Suraksha Sethi almost fainting beside the mortal remains of her late son. On Instagram, Vikas' last post was dedicated to his mother.

He acted in famous daily soaps like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahiin To Hoga. He has also featured in serials like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, K Street Pali Hill, Gustakh Dil, Uttaran, Darr Sabko Lagta Hai, Sasural Simar Ka and Yeh Vada Raha. He has also starred in films such as Deewaanapan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Oops, Modh and ISmart Shankar.

The actor was reportedly going through depression and was facing financial struggles. In 2021, he underwent surgery on his leg. He is survived by his wife Jhanvi and their twins.
