Bigg Boss 18: The reality show premiered on October 6 and has already been garnering headlines for controversies and fights. Anniruddhacharya Maharaj also known as Pookie Baba, surprised netizens when he appeared on the first day of show. His unexpected appearance led to trolling and now he has clarified about the same.

In Anniruddhacharya’s response to backlash, he has issued a public apology to his followers and clarified his involvement. He said that he appeared on the show as a guest, not as a contestant and was there to solely to bless the contestants before entering the competition. He said, ““Aap nishchint rahe jab tak ye saans rahegi Sanatan ki hi baat karunga”.
Netizens were miffed with him when he had appeared on premiere of the show and expressed their views on social media. One user wrote, “in upcoming days Baba ji is going to enter this show by wild card entry for sure.” Another user wrote, “Baba ji kyun jaa rahe hai yaar Bigg Boss mein”. “Secularism at its peak”, wrote the third user.
For the unversed, this is not the first time he has appeared in a reality show. He had earlier appeared on Laughters Chefs, where his presence was loved by the viewers and showcased his connect with the viewers. The latest appearance in Bigg Boss irked reasons is because of his prior statements against the reality show.
