Bollywood Kare Toh Problematic? Netizens Troll 'Cringe' Pushpa 2 Trailer, Allu Arjun's 'Overacting'

Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahh Faasil's Pushpa: Rule trailer was unveiled at an event in Patna and quickly became a trending topic online. While a section of social media users praised how one of most-anticipated movies of 2024 has turned out to be, ors were quick to point out how sequel uses a similar template of "cringe" dialogues and hero worship to rake in money at box office.

Pushpa 2 trailer receives criticism

Many on social media pointed out how brazenly Pushpa 2 is promoting toxic masculinity through its titular character. first installment was also met with similar criticism and it seems like, sequel will follow a similar trajectory of glorifying "problematic characters". Instances have alrey been shared on social media, with many posting screenshots of dialogues and scenes that are "cringeworthy".

Many claimed that while audiences and critics were liking Puhspa's “swag” in trailer, similar scenes in Bollywood movies would be heavily crticised. 

Fahh Faasil ds a layer of intrigue to Pushpa 2 trailer

trailer shows several electrifying moments mostly in terms of action set pieces featuring Allu Arjun. re’s also a glimpse of Rashmika Mandanna’s character of Srivalli in movie. However, game truly changes with entry of Malayalam superstar Fahh Faasil in trailer. eccentricity of Fahh’s character while he essays a cop makes for a perfect antagonistic force for Allu Arjun’s character of sandalwood smuggler, Pushpa.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, music of film is from T Series. Pushpa 2: Rule went through production delays as makers moved its release date from August 15 to December 5.
