Jr NTR will play a double role in Devara. Talking about the shark scene in the movie, he said, “I hated shooting for it. That was one of the sequences which took a lot of time. I was in a tank, which was about five and a half feet. That scene took almost a full day to get it right.”

It will be interesting to see how the water sequences have panned out in the movie. Teasing the climax of the film, Jr NTR added, "The last half an hour or forty minutes of Devara will rock you all. I am sure Anil Thadani sir, Karan Johar sir, and Apoorva sir will agree with this statement. I can’t wait for people to watch that. The visual that my director Siva had in his mind is fabulous.”

Jr NTR says he is nervous about Devara

Billed as a high-octane action drama set in the forgotten coastal lands of India, the first part of the film is set to be released on September 27. The actor, whose last released film as a leading man was 2018 Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, said Devara will do well commercially like RRR, in which he was seen alongside Ram Charan.

"I'm very nervous because after RRR this is my next film. RRR was with my co-actor Mr Ram Charan, this is my solo release after six years, so there's a lot of nervousness building," he added.
