Fahadh Faasil aka FaFa is celebrating his 42nd birthday today. He hails from a family deeply rooted in filmmaking. His father, Fazil is a well-known director and his brother, Farhaan Faasil, is also an actor. Fahadh started his acting career in the early 2000s with minor roles, but it was his role in the 2009 film Kerala Cafe that made him famous. Currently, Fahadh is focused on his upcoming major projects, Pushpa 2 and Vettaiyan. On his special day, the creators of his forthcoming film Vettaiyan presented him with a special gift.
Vettaiyan's behind-the-scenes unveiled on FaFa's birthday
The makers of the upcoming film Vettaiyan starring superstars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan dropped a special unseen picture to celebrate Fahadh Faasil's birthday. Taking to their X account, Lyca Productions shared a behind-the-scenes picture featuring Fahadh with Indian cinema legends Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. The post reads: “Our Birthday Boy Fahadh Faasil with the two pillars of Indian cinema, Superstar @rajinikanth and Shahenshah @SrBachchan from the sets of #Vettaiyan (sic).” Earlier, Lyca Productions dropped the first-look picture of Fahadh from Vettaiyan as well.
Following this Pushpa 2 team has also shared his first-look poster on their official X (formerly Twitter) account. Once production posted the pictures, they quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section. One user wrote, “What a Frame (sic).” Another commented, “Happy Birthday FaFa (sic).” "Three Dragons," read another comment.
Vettaiyan features a legendary cast
The movie Vettaiyan, featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role, is directed by TJ Gnanavel, known for Jai Bhim. This action drama centres on Rajinikanth as a retired police officer who seeks to unravel a dark mystery. The production company previously released the title teaser on Rajinikanth's 73rd birthday.
The film also boasts a stellar cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in significant roles. It is set to be released in October this year.
