Goodachari 2: Adivi Sesh aka Agent 116 embarks on a new mission, first look out

Adivi Sesh, who has been busy preparing for the sequel of his 2018 hit film Goodachari, has shared a major update on his actioner. Adivi, on Monday (December 11), shared several posts on his social media handle announcing that they have started shooting for the film. The actor unveiled his first look from the film.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Adivi announced the start of a sequel film. He shared two monochrome photos of Adivi from the sets featuring him in a formal ensemble. He accentuated his look, he wore black sunglasses. Sharing the photos, he wrote, "Suited up (Indian flag emoticon). Loved shooting for this scene. #G2 #Goodachari2."

He also shared a photo of clapboard and captioned it as "MASSIVE. This is how we do it. #G2#Goodachari2."

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Abhishek Agarwal Arts, the production house, also dropped the post and captioned it as "Lights, camera, espionage. Our Agent 116 embarks on a new mission at #Trinetra, India's most awaited spy sequel, #G2 - shoot begins today."

Banita Sandhu joins the star cast of Goodachari 2

Expressing her happiness about coming on board, Banita said that it is her first pan-India film and her role is "unlike anything she has ever done before". The Sardar Udham actress said, "This is my first Pan-India film and I’m so excited to collaborate with such an incredible, visionary team. It is a role unlike anything I’ve ever done before and I can’t wait for audiences to see me in a completely fresh avatar. Working on this movie will be a creative delight for me.”

Earlier the makers revealed that the sequel will continue from where Goodachari left off, with Gopi, aka Agent 116, facing off against enemies in snow-covered terrain. Helmed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, Adivi will be reprising his role as  M. Arjun Kumar in this action spy thriller. The actor  Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under the banner of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments, the film features Sricharan Pakala as the music composer and Kodati Pavan Kalyan as the editor.
