Jr NTR starrer Devara is steady at the box office in India despite earning mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The movie, helmed by Kortala Siva, has minted Rs 248.65 in 11 days and is now eyeing to enter the Rs 300 crore club. However, JR NTR is seemingly not happy with the numbers and said that the audience has become "negative".

We are not able to enjoy a film: Jr NTR

In a recent interview during Devara Part 1 promotions, Jr NTR said, "We as an audience have become very negative these days. We are not able to enjoy a film in an innocent manner anymore.” The actor compared the adult audiences to his sons Abhay and Bhargav and added that they don't care about what actor or movie they are watching. His kids just enjoy movies. This makes Jr NTR wonder why the adults are not able to be that innocent anymore.

“Every film today, we are watching it to analyse. We are all constantly judging, analysing and overthinking films. Maybe our exposure to cinema has made us like this,” the actor pointed out. However, the actor believes this trend might change over time as this is "all part of the cycle".
