Kalki 2898 AD Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Prabhas Starrer Breaches ₹400 Crore Mark
On the third day at the global box office, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD managed to earn over ₹100 crore gross worldwide.

It's been just two days at the box office and Kalki 2898 AD has already left its mark not just in India but across the globe. Prabhas starrer opened at ₹191.5 crore at the box office worldwide, becoming the third Indian movie to have such biggest opening. However, on the second day, the daily collection witnessed a dip and managed to earn ₹107 crore, taking the total to ₹298.5 crore gross worldwide. It was expected that the movie would near ₹400 crore mark and the business will be affected due to the T20 World Cup final. Well, it has not just entered the club but is expected to earn around ₹500 crore by the end of the weekend.

On the third day, the movie managed to earn over ₹100 crore gross worldwide. In North America, Kalki 2898 AD collected over $9.3 million. Adding the third-day collection, the total now stands at ₹415 crore gross worldwide. It will breach the ₹500 crore mark comfortably by Sunday.

As per early estimates reported by Sacnilk, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer minted ₹27 crore in Hindi at the domestic box office. Adding the third-day collection, the movie's total in Hindi now stands at ₹72.5 crore. Kalki 2898 AD had an overall 96.73 per cent Hindi occupancy on Saturday (adding both 2D and 3D versions). If the collection maintains the pace, then by the end of the weekend, the movie will enter the ₹100 crore club. The journey thereafter - on the make-or-break Monday - is crucial. However, a double-digit score seems certain seeing the recent trends.

Adding the Hindi collection to India's total collection (all regional languages), the sci-fi action-thriller earned ₹67 crore, witnessing a 16.49 per cent growth since Friday. Maximum was earned in Telugu version - ₹32.35 crore, Tamil language minted ₹5 crore, followed by Malayalam and Kannada, ₹2.4 crore and ₹45 lakh, respectively. Adding the three-day collection, the total now stands at ₹220 crore at the domestic box office.
