Jyotika defends husband Suriya for Kanguva's negative reviews

On Sunday, Jyotika took to her Instagram handle and penned a long note calling Kanguva a "spectavle in cinema" and expressed that she is "proud" of her husband for dream to take cinema forward. She also defended her husband's movie by saying "flaws are a part of most Indian films."

She mitted that background score was "jarring" but defended it by saying just for 1/2 hour while rest of hours sound was fine. She also expressed her shock on reing negative reviews about movie and slammed for not doing same to "most unintellectual big budget films" that objectify women, and have double-meaning dialogues or over--top action sequences.

Meanwhile, movie is me on a reported budget of ₹350 crore. It features epic battle scenes and grand visuals with story spanning 1,500 years into past.
