Keerthy Declined Kalki: The Mahanati actress is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Raghu Thatha. The actress’ beauty and versatility in acting across genres has amassed her a loyal fanbase. Recently, Keerthy revealed interesting details about Kalki 2898 AD, of which she is a part.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Keerthy Suresh shared that she was offered a different role in the film, but declined it. She said, “Nagi offered another role in the film, which I was not very sure of."
She further said, “Later, he messaged me saying, 'Do you want to at least peep through a ball at least?' I said, 'I'd love to do it in your film.' I am actually glad I said no to the other role. It was the best dubbing I had. It was so much fun. It was a great memory, and I'm looking forward to the next one."
She however did keep details of her original role under wraps, which has now sparked curiosity amongst fans.
Keerthy as Bujji in Kalki 2898 AD
Keerthy voicing Bujji has been widely praised and loved by fans and movie critics. Her role as Prabhas’ partner in the film make some of the best and most humourous scenes in the Nag Ashwin directorial.
The makers also explored Bujji and Bhairava's story in Kalki 2898 AD animated prequel series. It is streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video from May 31.
What’s next for Keerthy Suresh?
Keerthy Suresh will next be seen in Raghu Thatha. Directed by Suman Kumar, the film will also feature Ravindra Vijay, Chu Khoy Sheng, Rajeev Ravindranath, Aadhira Pandilakshmi and M.S Bhaskar. Raghu Thatha tells the hilarious story of a rebellious young woman, Kayalvizhi, who is forced to choose between principle and patriarchy. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 15.
Keerthy Suresh is packed with several projects in the pipeline including including Baby John, Revolver Rani and Uppu Kappurambu.
