Lucky Baskhar Trailer Out: Dulquer Salmaan Takes Risk For Family In Pursuit Of Money

Dulquer Salmaan 2023 film King Of Kotha, is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Lucky Baskhar. The makers dropped the trailer of the highly anticipated film which has shown a glimpse of 1980s, in which a man is willing to risk everything for his family. In it, the actor can be seen portraying the role of a banker, who suddenly becomes the owner of a shocking amount of money.

In the trailer of Lucky Baskhar, it shows how a man gamble with the financial world soon exacts a heavy moral and emotional toll. The film appears to blend dramatic intensity with a cheeky self-awareness. Dulquer, plays  the role of Baskhar, is an honest banker who leads a routine existence until getting bored of it.

As soon as the trailer was released, fans went gaga and flooded the comment section, seeing Dulquer Salman after long time. One user wrote, “All the best Dulquer…Hope this will be a blockbuster”. Another user wrote, “I am a Telugu fan girl of dq sir in some shades your acting is like your father mammootty sir”.

Helmed by Venky Atluri, the writer-director of blockbusters like Tholi Prema and Sir Vaathi, the movie stars Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead role opposite Dulquer. In February this year, the makers welcomed Ayesha Khan on board. In the movie, she has a special appearance. Expressing her happiness, the actress said that she is "super excited" for her role. "It’s an honour to perform under Venky sir’s direction and to be a part of such a fine team, she added.

Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Souianva of Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film is being presented by Srikara Studios. G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film with Nimish Ravi as the cinematographer. National Award-winning production designer Banglan and editor Navin Nooli are also part of the project. Lucky Bhasker is set to release in theatres on October 31.
