Mohan Babu Robbed Of ₹10 Lakh From Actor's House, Domestic Worker Nabbed

Telugu actor Mohan Babu's house help has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from a veteran actor's residence, per news agency PTI. The domestic help reportedly stole ₹10 lakh case on Sunday from Mohan Babu's personal secretary.

What happened?

Mohan Babu's personal secretary had come to visit the actor at his house on Sunday. When he noticed the cash was missing, a case was registered at Pahadishareef police station. Soon after the police started investigating and named a domestic help in Tirupati and brought him back to Hyderabad.

The police have managed to recover ₹7.36 lakh cash from the accused, while the remaining he has spent. Meanwhile, the case is still under investigation. The actor is yet to release a statement regarding the incident.

Mohan Babu has acted in more than 500 films, including Simha Baludu, Rama Krishnulu, Patnam Vachina Pativrathalu, Padaharella Vayasu and Son of India. He was last seen in the 2023 Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Shaakunthalam as Durvasa Maharishi. Next, he will be seen in his son and actor Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa. Apart from him the movie also stars an ensemble cast, including, Akshay Kumar , Mohanlal, Prabhas , R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav and Madhoo. The original score and songs are being composed by Stephen Devassy. Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the movie is slated to hit the theatres next year. It is expected to be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and English.
