Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBK 109 cast gets Chandini Chowdary on board, leading lady not yet finalised

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently in the midst of filming NBK 109. NBK 109 is making its way through its current filming schedule in Ooty. Amid this, comes news of the film expanding its cast with a well known face - NBK 109 however, is yet to lock in its leading lady.

NBK 109 expands its cast

As per a 123Telugu report, the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NBK 109, has expanded its cast. The latest addition to the film's cast, is Chandini Chowdary. The actress is best known for her roles in 2018 mystery thriller Manu and 2020 period romance Colour Photo. The film however, is yet to lock in its leading lady.

NBK 109 is being directed by Bobby Kolli. Not much is known about the film, sans the poster which too does not reveal much. The poster of the film features a box of weapons and axe. The poster also carries the tags, 'blood bath ka brand name' and 'violence ka visiting card'.

Nandamuri Balakrishna has had a successful year at the cinemas

Nandamuri Balakrishna has seen through the release of two big banner films this year. First came, action drama Veera Simha Reddy, directed by Gopichand Malineni which featured the actor along side Honey Rose, Shruti Haasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The film notably featured Nandamuri Balakrishna in a double role. This was followed by Bhagavanth Kesari in which the actor featured in the titular role - the film notably starred Sreeleela opposite the actor.

While Veera Simha Reddy earned ₹115 crores in India, its overseas collections of ₹15 crores, took the film's gross earnings to ₹130 crores. Bhagavanth Kesari on the other hand has earned ₹99.7 crores at the India box office, with additional earnings of ₹14.8 crores bringing its total to ₹114.5 crores.
