Pooja Gets Back At Sreeleela After Getting Replaced In Guntur Kaaram, Bags Her Bollywood Debut Film

Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela are the popular actress in the south. For their acting skills and choice of films, the duo are loved by the netizens. Both the actress are jam packed with several projects be it Bollywood or in South.

Pooja Hegde Vs Sreeleela

According to reports, Pooja Hegde is all set to star as a second lead opposite Varun Dhawan which will be helmed by David Dhawan. Reportedly, Sreeleela was supposed to portray this role, but due to unknown reasons, she was replaced by Pooja Hegde. Reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur will be the main female lead.

Interestingly, when Pooja Hegde was suppose to play the role of female lead in Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram. She was later replaced by Sreeleela later. However, Guntur Kaaram received lukewarm response from fans and couldn’t perform well at the box office.

What’s next for Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela?

Apart from the untitled film of David Dhawan, Pooja Hegde will next be seen in Deva, which will be headlined by Shahid Kapoor. The power-packed action thriller, the movie is directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews of Udayananu Tharam and Notebook fame. Pooja Hegde also has Thalapathy 69 and Suriya 44 in the pipeline.

While Sreeleela who was last seen in Guntur Karaam, will next be seen in Robinhood, in which she will be portraying the role of Neera Vasudev.  She also has Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan and RT75 with Ravi Teja in the pipeline.

Directed by Harish Shankar and produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gauthami, Chammak Chandra, Naga Mahesh, Narra Srinu, Giri and Temper Vamsi in pivotal roles. Ustaad Bhagat Singh is scheduled for December 27 release.

RT75 is expected to release around Sankranthi 2025. It is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas. Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the writer of Samajavaragamana, who is making his directorial debut, the film's music will be composed by Bheems.
