Lately, rumours were rife that after Kalki 2898 AD, Mrunal will reunite with Prabhas in Fauji. However, Hi Nanna actress rubbished rumours. A few days ago, an entertainment portal posted a photograph of Mrunal and Prabhas on Instagram, with a caption that read, "We're super stoked to watch Prabhas and Mrunal Thakur in Fauji. film's first look will be out on 17th August." This led to fans buzzing with anticipation about seeing Prabhas and Mrunal toger on big screen once more.

Countering buzz, Mrunal took to comments section of post to refute report. She denied casting rumours while commenting, “Sorry to be a vibe killer! Buttttt I'm t a part of this film.”
