Prabhas Begins The Shoot For Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam
On the occasion of Prabhas' 45th birthday, the makers of Salaar announced that the second part of the movie Shouryaanga Parvam has gone on floors.

Prabhas , who is celebrating his 45th birthday today, October 23, has begun the shooting for the sequel to his 2023 film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the movie also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
Salaar Part 2 goes on the floor
Cameras started rolling on the sets of Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam on Wednesday. The film is being helmed by Prashanth, known for his work on the blockbuster K.G.F. film franchise. Talking about the sequel, it is poised to raise the bar in action cinema. Prabhas will reprise his titular role alongside Prithviraj. The current shooting schedule is set for 20 days, during which the team aims to capture high-octane sequences that fans have eagerly been waiting for, per IANS.

The sequel will pick up from where the first film left, diving deeper into the intricate world of power struggles, revenge, and redemption. As tensions escalate and alliances are tested, audiences can expect a thrilling ride filled with unexpected twists.
Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire was a great hit at the box office
The first installment which clashed with Dunki at the box office, continues to make waves with its satellite release as well. The movie follows the story of a fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, where monarchy still exists. The friendship between Deva (played by Prabhas ), the exiled prince of Khansaar, and Varadha (played by Prithviraj), the current prince of Khansaar forms the crux of the film. When a coup d'etat is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler.

Prabhas will have a busy slate ahead with Salaar 2, The Raja Saab and Kalki 2898 AD's shoot in the pipeline. The actor also has a cameo appearance in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, where he will essay the role of Nandi.
