Prabhas compares Salaar to Baahubali, reflects on how SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel are different
Riding high on the success of Salaar, Prabhas made an insightful comparison regarding how some of his biggest hits are after all similar in one regard.

Prabhas is currently riding high on the success of his latest release, Salaar. The Prashanth Neel helmed Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire released in theatres on December 22 and in a mere two weeks of its theatrical run has minted ₹ 373.5 crores domestically with its worldwide collections already crossing ₹ 571.15 crores. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his next pan-India project, Nag Ashwin's dystopian sci-fi project Kalki 2898 AD, which will feature him along side Amitabh Bacchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone. Amid the same, the actor has recently drew comaprisons between his latest hit and his biggest hit.
Prabhas reveals how Salaar and Baahubali are similar
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla Prabhas opened up about how his latest box office hit - Salaar, is similar to his biggest film(s) to date, the Baahubali franchise. While the films are two worlds apart in terms of setting and pace, the actor pointed out the one factor that makes them similar to each other. In the same breath he also described his experiences working with SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel for Baahubali and Salaar respectively, as "enriching".
He said, "Working with SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel has been an enriching experience. Both directors share an unwavering commitment to storytelling and a meticulous approach to filmmaking. While both, Salaar and Baahubali have been apart from each other in storytelling, one thing that binds them together are the grand visuals and compelling narratives."
Prabhas says his bond with his fans transcends the screen
The interview also saw Prabhas reflect on how seminal the love he has received from his fans, has been to his journey as an actor. The actor called it his driving force behind taking risks and diving into new genres.
He said, "The unconditional love from my fans is truly humbling. It is difficult to put in words what they mean to me, but I am sure, they understand my feelings. Their support motivates me to push boundaries and explore new genres. It’s a bond that goes beyond the screen and I am grateful to their constant encouragement and loyalty." Kalki 2898 AD will be releasing in theatres on January 12.
