Prabhas' Look As Nandi From Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa Leaked, Makers Offer ₹5 Lakh To Catch Culprit
Prabhas will appear in a cameo appearance in the Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa and his look from the movie made its way online irking the film's producers.

Prabhas is one of the busiest actors in the country with several films in his pipeline. Among many, the Kalki 2898 AD actor will be seen in Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa in a cameo appearance. While the makers of the film ensured no information about the film was leaked online, the actor's look from the movie made its way on social media. This has led to a strong retaliation from the Kannappa producers.
Prabhas ' look from Kannappa leaked online
On November 9, numerous stills of Prabhas from the action movie Kannappa made its way on social media. In the photo, the actor could be seen donning rudraksh in his arms and around his neck. He also sported a chandan teeka and carried a trident in his hand. The actor is speculated to play the role of Nandi in the movie in which Akshay Kumar will be seen as Lord Shiva.

Reacting to the leak, the Kannappa producers penned a long note. The production house 24 Frames Factory put out a statement on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, ‘an urgent and heartfelt appeal from the Kannappa team'. A part of the statement read, “For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization.”

The producers then urged social media users to not circulate the leaked images online. They also mentioned, “We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened, and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak." The statement continued, “We urge you not to share this leaked image/footage as doing so will make individuals liable for a legal action.” The production house mentioned that anyone who can help them find the source of the leak will be rewarded ₹5 Lakhs for their assistance.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is based on the story of Kannappa, a devotee of the Hindu god Shiva. It is being bankrolled by Mohan Babu through his companies AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. The original score and songs are being composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma. Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau, action director Kecha Khamphakdee, and dance maestro Prabhu Deva are also part of the project. Originally shot in Telugu, the film is expected to be dubbed and released in multiple Indian languages. Meanwhile, Kannappa will also mark Akshay Kumar 's Telugu debut.
