Prabhas To Share Screen With Marvel Star Don Lee In Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit?

Pan-India star Prabhas is currently basking in the box office success of his recently released film Kalki 2898 AD. It has only been close to a week now since the Nag Ashwin directorial hit the big screens and it has already minted over ₹900 crore globally in just 11 days. While this makes Prabhas' second hit in a row, all eyes are on what he does next. One of his most-awaited projects is Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit and the Animal director has confirmed that it will be the next project that he will begin work on.

Now, rumours are afloat about a prominent South Korean star being roped in for Spirit, opposite Prabhas.

Don Lee to feature in Spirit?

Korean action star Ma Dong-seok, whose credit list includes hit films like Train To Busan, The Eternals and The Outlaws franchise, is reportedly being considered for a role in Spirit. Though the news is not official yet, if indeed the reports are true, Spirit will mark an epic collaboration between two international stars. It would also mark Don Lee's first Indian project.

According to multiple reports, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is planning to rope in South Korean actors and stunt choreographers for the film, in an attempt to add an international flavour to the highly anticipated Prabhas starrer.

What has Vanga said about Spirit?

Till now, details of the film's storyline are under wraps. Last year, while promoting Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal, Vanga had revealed that he would begin working on Spirit next. he movie was announced back in October 2021. After that, Vanga got busy with Animal and Prabhas saw through the release of Radhe Shyam, Adipurush, Salaar and now Kalki 2898 AD.

In an interview, Vanga confirmed that Prabhas will essay the role of an "honest cop" in Spirit. More details about the project are awaited.
