Off late, re were rumours that Pushpa 2: Rule will t be seeing through its release on day. However, as per latest 123Telugu report, film is well on track to release on aforementioned date - August 15. Sukumar directorial will see Allu Arjun reprise his iconic titular role for Pushpa 2 with Rashmika Mandanna also returning to franchise to reprise her role of Srivalli.

Separately, 2023 saw Allu Arjun being houred with National Film Award under Best Actor category for his portrayal of Pushpa, at 69th National Film Awards held in Delhi's Udyog Bhawan. Incidentally, Pushpa: Rise, which released in 2021, was actor's last atrical release with Pushpa 2 set to mark an end to his hiatus from silver screen.
