Allu Arjun , Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2 is one of the most anticipated pan-India films that will be coming out. Fans are hoping the cast this time will deliver twice as much fun in the second part of the film. In the latest update, a Telugu star will be joining the film.

Pushpa song Oo Antava became a viral hot in 2021 and also contributed to the film’s box office success. Riding on the song’s popularity, Samantha Ruth Prabhu rose to pan-India stardom. There were several reports that Shraddha Kapoor have been replaced by Sreeleela as the Stree 2 actress demanded high renumeration, which made the makers consider other options. Rumours are rife that Sreeleela will be most likely be part of this much-anticipated film.

Sreeleela predominantly works in Telugu and Kannada cinema. She began her career as a child artist in 2017, before landing a lead role in 2019 Kannada film Kiss. Other notable performances include Pelli Sandal, James, Dhamaka, Skanda, Guntur Kaaram. She has Robinhood, Ustaad Bhagat Singh and RT75 in the pipeline.

Directed by Sukumar, apart from Allu Arjun, the action drama also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj among others. Pushpa 2 is written by Sukumar, cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and music by Devi Sri Prasad.

The movie serves as the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, which left a huge impact at the box office and in the minds of the audience. The first installment grossed over ₹360-373 crore at the worldwide box office. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 and ranks among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time.
