Rashmika Mandanna has a tongue-in-cheek birthday wish for 'boyfriend' Dheekshith Shetty

Rashmika Mandanna is currently riding high on success of her latest atrical release, Animal. film has been wreaking havoc at box office having rushed its way to collection figures upwards of 850 crores, worldwide, in under four weeks of of its atrical run, which is still going strong. Rashmika is currently working on three simultaneous projects one among which is film Girlfriend, which stars Dheekshith Shetty opposite actress.

Rashmika Mandanna took to her official X handle to extend a warm birthday wish to Dheekshith Shetty. two will be starring opposite one anor in film, Girlfriend with Rashmika playing titular role. In a tongue-in-cheek post for Dheekshith, Rashmika referred to actor as " Boyfriend" - a direct reference to ir film. Rashmika's post also revealed that Girlfriend is currently well under way.

Her post re, "Happy birthday to Boyfriend of Girlfriend @Dheekshiths Shoot in progress." Attached to post, was a glimpse of Dikshit in action in film. Dheekshith can be seen seething with anger as a group of people hold him back, setting an interesting narrative for film. For unversed, Dheekshith has previously featured in film Dasara, along side Nani.

What is next for Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty?

Rashmika Mandanna is currently filming for three projects simultaneously. foremost among se is Pushpa 2: Rule which will see her reprise her role of Srivalli from first film of franchise, opposite Allu Arjun. Rashmika is also filming for Rainbow and Girlfriend. 

Dheekshith Shetty on or hand, was last seen in Dasara. He has five Kanna projects lined up, all of which are currently in midst of filming. Dheekshith's projects include Blink, KTM, Sheegrameva Kalyana Praptirasthu, Strawberry and Bank of Bhagyalakshmi.
