Ravi Teja Sustains Muscle Tear On RT75 Set, Advised 6-Week Bed Rest Post Surgery

Ravi Teja Injured: The Telugu star, who is currently filming for RT75, got injured during the shoot. He had to undergo surgery, which has been long delayed.

Ravi Teja Injured: After his latest release Mr Bachchan, the Mass Maharaja is busy shooting for his upcoming film RT75. Recently, while shooting for his upcoming project, the actor had to undergo surgery after getting injured during filming.

How did Ravi Teja get injured on RT75 set?

Ravi Teja tore a muscle in his right hand but continued working despite the pain, which made it worse for his injury. A representative of Ravi Teja confirmed the information on X and wrote, “Mass Maharaja #Raviteja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation.”

He further wrote, “Yesterday, He underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery.”

All about Ravi Teja’s upcoming film RT75

The yet-untitled film is expected to release around Sankranthi 2025. It is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas. Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the film will star Sreeleela as the female lead.

Interestingly, Bhanu Bhogavarapu, who is the the writer of Samajavaragamana, is making his directorial debut with RT75 and the film's music will be composed by Bheems. Ravi Teja aims to complete the shoot by October this year.

Ravi Teja’s recent release Mr Bachchan turns out to be a flop

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan hit the theatres on August 15. The movie which is remake of Ajay Devgn starrer Raid, has earned mixed reviews from the critics and audience. After the debacle, reportedly, director Harish Shankar has decided to compensate the makers for the losses by returning back his remuneration for the film. Harish reportedly took ₹15 crore as his fees for the film.
