Salaar US box office: Prabhas starrer sells 50K tickets with 2 days left for release

vance bookings for Prabhas starrer Salaar have opened up in US and response to upcoming action film has been positive. Two days left for its release and movie has alrey sold 50K tickets in States for all languages. While bookings for Salaar have been happening at a fast pace, many on social media have also claimed that booking site Book My Show crashed in India due to surge in demand for Salaar.

Huge demand for Salaar in US

distributors of Salaar in US shared on social media that tickets for film are selling like hotcakes. After immense success of Baahubali franchise, stardom of Prabhas in States is unparalleled. Prathyangira Cinemas shared that 50K tickets of Salaar have been sold in US alone and film is poised to take a huge opening in North America.

This is even though film will not be released in IMAX in US, which was supposed to happen when film h set September 28 as its release date. reason behind new release strategy of film is not yet known but huge demand will surely make producers happy about box office prospects of Salaar in US.

Prashanth Neel about Salaar  

Prashanth Neel has stated that Salaar is story of two friends, essayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Talking about his latest directorial, director shared, "Salaar is a completely different world; action in film is massive and re are strong characters, but above all, it has an emotional story -- story of two friends and ir journey into world of Khansaar. I wanted to make an action-packed drama film with a story driven by emotions and friendship, and Salaar has given me that opportunity.”

Salaar will release on December 22 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kanna and Malayalam.
