Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Collection Day 1: Nani Starrer Set To Be His Biggest Opener

Telugu star Nani is gearing up for the release of his next action film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram on August 29. In Hindi, it has been titled Surya's Saturday. It follows the quirky story of Nani's titular character who commits crimes on specific days of the week and gets caught up in a face-off with an honest cop, played by SJ Suryah. With the promotions of the movie shaping up well, it is expected to take a huge opening.

Will Nani's Saripodhaa Sanivaaram be his biggest opener?

The bookings for the film are already open and going by the early response, the box office will surely be on fire. The hype surrounding Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is huge and the trade is expecting big numbers on day one.

According to 123 Telugu, Sirpodhaa Sanivaaram is expected to make a total gross of ₹15-20 crore in Telugu states on its opening day. In the US too, the collections are going to be solid, give Nani's pull among the audience there. Before this, Dasara remains the actor's biggest Day 1 grosser with ₹14.20 crore business in Telugu states.

Dubbed as an “action spectacle”, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is written and directed by Vivek Athreya. The film, which also features SJ Suryah, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sai Kumar P, will be released in theatres on August 29 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. In Hindi, it is titled Surya's Saturday.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks Nani and Athreya’s second collaboration after Ante Sundaraniki in 2022. The movie is produced by DVV Danayya through DVV Entertainment.
