South Movies Releasing In November: October is nearing its end, and a number of films, including Amaran, Bagheera, Lucky Baskhar, and Brother, will be released on October 31, 2024, in honour of Diwali . However, November is also gearing up for some big  film releases, particularly from South Cinema. Here’s a full list of the movies set to be shown in November 2024.

Kanguva (Tamil)

The upcoming film Kanguva, starring Suriya, is one of the most eagerly awaited releases from the Tamil film industry in 2024. Releasing on November 14, this fantasy action movie has been in production for quite a while and features Suriya in dual roles.

Other cast include Bobby Deol, Disha Patani , Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala. The story unfolds across two different timelines, with one of his characters portrayed as a tribal warrior from the past. Additionally, this film marks the Tamil debuts of both Bobby Deol and Disha Patani and is recognised as one of the most costly productions in Indian cinema.

Mechanic Rocky (Telugu)

Mechanic Rocky features Vishwak Sen as Ramakrishna, known as Rocky and releasing on November 22. His lifestyle leads him to work as both a mechanic and a driving instructor, where he also encounters his romantic interests.

This action comedy was initially set to premiere in cinemas during Diwali but was postponed. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shraddha Srinath play the main roles, while Jakes Bejoy composes the music.

Bhairathi Ranagal (Kannada)

Bhairathi Ranagal is releasing on November 15 and features Shiva Rajkumar in the lead role and is a neo-noir Kannada film that acts as both a sequel and a prequel to the hit movie Mufti.

The original film revolves around a crime boss in a village who finds himself pursued by an undercover cop, portrayed by Srii Murali. It concludes with the gangster being captured by the police officer, while the new film will explore the gangster's backstory and life before his arrest.

Matka (Telugu)

The upcoming action thriller Matka, directed by Karuna Kumar, stars Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Nora Fatehi, among others. Set against the backdrop of Vizag, the film follows the journey of a man who ascends to become an unstoppable gangster, with Matka gambling as a central theme.

Varun Tej portrays the gangster throughout the years, while Meenakshi Chaudhary takes on the role of the female lead. The movie is set to be released on November 14, 2024.

I Am Kathalan (Malayalam)

In the upcoming film I Am Kathalan, directed by Girish AD and featuring Naslen, known for his role in Premalu.
