Spirit: Sandeep Reddy Vanga shares new details about his next directorial starring Prabhas

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal, is busy with the promotions of the film. During one such event, the director shared more details about his next directorial starring Prabhas. Earlier, during the appearance at Nandamuri Balakrishna's talk show, Unstoppable with NBK, the director revealed the title of his next project Spirit and announced when will the film go on the floors.

For some time now, Prabhas has been starring in bilingual (Telugu and Hindi) films starting with Saaho, followed by Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. However, the actor is breaking the streak with Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. Now, during the event, the director revealed that Spirit will be a Telugu language film with a pan-Indian release.

Earlier at Unstoppable with NBK, he revealed that it is a cop action thriller with Prabhas as an honest and dedicated police officer in Spirit.

Will Ranbir Kapoor have a cameo in Spirit?

There are speculations that the film will pave the way for a universe that stars both Ranbir and Prabhas. It started when Ranbir expressed his wish to work with Prabhas. During the promotional event, Ranbir opened up about his fondness for Sandeep and expressed his desire to share screen space with Prabhas in Spirit. He said, “If he has a small role for me, I would love to be part of Spirit.”

Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy with his upcoming film Salaar, helmed by Prashanth Neel, the KGF fame director. The trailer of the film is expected to be out by the start of December as it will hit the theatres on December 22 alongside Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal starrer. Other than Spirit, Prabhas has Kalki 2898 AD which is slated to release next year in January.
