Sundeep Kishan’s Restaurant Flouts 6 Safety Rules, Expired Food, Stagnant Water Found In FSSAI Raid

Actor Sundeep Kishan has landed in trouble recently. The actor owns a restaurant Vivaha Bhojanambu in Secunderabad which was raided by the Food Safety Department of Telangana. The official handle of the body shared that the place has been found in violation of 6 safety measures.

On July 8, Vivaha Bhojanambu owned by Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan ran into trouble with the Food Safety Department. The outlet was raided and was found flouting several safety rules. On July 10, The Commissioner of Food Safety took to the official X (formerly Twitter) account to share the list of rules violated by the outlet. 

Sharing photos of raw materials, grated coconuts and poor storage of food items, the  Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana, shared a list of rules that the restaurant was violating. The list included: 

 * FSSAI license true copy was displayed at the premises.

* Chittimutyalu Rice (25kg) was found with Best Before date as 2022 and 500gms of Coconut Grates found with synthetic food colours. Stock has been discarded.

* Raw food articles & semi prepared foods stored in steel containers were covered but not labelled properly. Few dustbins were not covered with lids.

* Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were not available.

* Water stagnation observed in the drains inside kitchen premises.

* Water analysis report for the bubble water used as ingredient in food preparation and served to customers was not available.

* Food handlers were found wearing hairnets and uniforms.

* Pest control records for premises were available.

When did Sundeep Kishana open his restaurant? 

Sundeep Kishan’s Vivaha Bhojanambu is a franchise diner. The establishment has branches in Jubilee Hills and AS Rao Nagar in Hyderabad, apart from Tirupati, Ananthapur and Chennai. The actor launched the chain of restaurants a few years ago. He is yet to react to the department.
