Thailand witnesses rare dugongs relaxing on Libong island amid COVID-19 lockdown
Thailand has never been a safe haven for species like dugongs to survive, the slow-moving sea creatures, related to the manatee, are classified as rare.

A herd of more than 30 dugongs has reportedly been spotted drifting off coast of a Thai island as of April 22 according to ims released by National Marine Park Operation Center. rare sightings prove that despite tourism industry in shackles due to coronavirus lockdown, Thailand has mand to revive its wildlife along shores and waterways. Due to slump in human foot traffic on coasts, dugongs were seen relaxing beneath turquoise waters on coast of sourn Libong island, confirmed media reports.

Sharks and killer whales spotted
