Weeknd donates $300,000 to Beirut explosion relief funds
Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, manr of Weeknd, me an anuncement that artist has donated a sum of USD 300,000 to Global Aid for Leban. Sharing a picture with his client, Sal wrote, “I am so hored and humbled to work with artist’s who have such deep care for world and right w for our brors & sisters of Leban who are in pain and need our collective help. I want to thank my bror @weeknd for his generous and class act of donating $300,000 to Global Aid for Leban campaign.” (sic). Slaiby was born in Leban, who escaped to Cana during Lebanese Civil War.
Wassim Slaiby disclosed that along with Weeknd, Michael Rapi has also me a donation of USD 50,000 to Global Aid for Leban. Rapi is Chief Executive Officer and President of Live Nation Entertainment, a global entertainment company. Sal ded, “Also, I want to give a special thank you to Michael Rapi @michaelrapi and my Live Nation family for $50,000 donation. Give what you can and let’s repost so world can come toger to help Leban from this devastating trdy.” (sic).
