Couple in love, Lindsay Clowes and Alex Leckie, got married on US-Canada border with family along the St. Croix River in St. Stephen, Canada and Maine, US.

In a memorable wedding despite  territorial boundary separations, a va Scotia couple vowed "I do" at a wharf situated on Cana-US border amid COVID-19 travel restrictions, setting an example of “Where re is a will, re's a way.” In foot shared by Leslie Reeve Bernardini, couple in love Lindsay Clowes and Alex Leckie got married midway between two countries along St. Croix River in St. Stephen, N.B., that allowed friends and families across river in Maine to celebrate occasion too.

Perched on bridge at St. Croix River, guests watched live-streamed ceremony as y waved at beautiful couple. couple’s plan to take vows in Windsor, N.S., ir hometown, was stalled due to coronavirus guidelines that prohibited social garing. In an interview to CBC's Maritime on, bride Lindsay said that her wedding ceremony was an emotional and once in a lifetime experience as she recalled her husband Alex standing at altar in front, and some of  family on US side and friends on Cana side. Some were rowing boat at a distance from wharf, thankfully in calm waters. bride said that hers was wedding story that everyone will remember and be told about for years to come, at how it got arranged in midst of a global pandemic.

30 guests were approved
