Vignesh Shivan & Nayanthara attend the premiere of 'Koozhangal' at Rotterdam Film Festival

Popular Kollywood couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan h acquired production rights of Tamil Drama movie Koozangal. This directional debut of PS Vid Raj got selected in ‘Tiger Competition’ for 50th International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFRR). Vignesh and Nayanthara were seen at screening of Koozhangal at IFFR in Nerlands and pictures along with cast have been shared on social media.

IFFR Screening

IFFR is an annual film festival held every year at end of January which showcases selective works on independent and experimental filmmaking from around world. Koozhangal has got ditional hor of being only Indian feature film that has been selected in Tiger Award competition. international edition of film has been titled Pebbles. official Twitter handle of Rowdy Pictures recently shared  couple’s pictures along with crew from screening of film at IFFR. y captioned it “ much-awaited crew photo of our film Koozhangal that's premiering today!.” Check out Twitter post about IFFR Screening-

Koozangal

Koozangal depicts story of a poverty-stricken far and son wandering in a South Indian landscape where ir anger and frustration is seen to be hotter than sun. Vignesh Shivan broke exciting news to his followers about 'Tiger Award' selection on Twitter in December. trailer for movie was released at same time. film features a host of newcomers and has music composed by Yuvan Shankar. Koozangal will be third project that will be released via Rowdy Pictures production house which has also produced Nayanthara’s upcoming Tamil thriller Netrikann. Directed by Milind Rau, film will star Ajmal, Manikandan, Saran in pivotal roles. banner will also be presenter for upcoming Tamil action-thriller Rocky. Written and directed by Arun Maswaran, film will star Vasanth Ravi and Raveena Ravi in  le roles.

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's Works

Vignesh is currently busy shooting his upcoming Tamil comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Khal in Hyderab. film will star Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Akkineni. Nayanthara who h recently wrapped up shooting for Malayalam film Nizhal will soon be joining him in Hyderab for shoot. Nayanthara was last seen in film RJ Balaji's Mookuthi Amman. She essayed role of a Goddess in movie and film released on occasion of Diwali on Disney+ Hotstar on vember 14, 2020. film also starred Balaji in le role and Urvashi, Smruthi Venkat, Mhu Mailankody, Abinaya, Moulee, and Ajay Ghosh in supporting roles.
