'Wandavision' star Elizabeth Olsen says Wanda's accent 'hasn't gone anywhere'

Wandavision released on January 15 worldwide. As fans meet Wanda Maximoff again on screen with mini-series, y realise that heavy Sokovian accent she h when she was initially introduced has worn-off with time. actor in a recent interview said that it ‘hasn’t gone anywhere’ and more about it, re along to kw more.

Elizabeth Olsen says Wanda’s accent is still re

Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff h a heavy Sokovian accent when she was introduced back in Avengers: of Ultron. However, when she was seen next in 2019 movie Avengers: Infinity War,  accent wasn’t quite re. This also became a major topic during press promotions of Infinity War with Russo Brors. y said on  Josh Horowitz's Happy S Confused podcast, “One is you’ll tice at beginning of Civil War that Black Widow is training her to be a spy, and two is she’s been on run, and one of most distinguishing characteristics that she has is her accent”.

Although reasons that duo did make sense, fans also thought that makers just decided to drop accent as her scenes in 2019 movie were very limited and only with Vision. However, on a recent episode of Collider Lies Night, Olsen opened up about how that accent was t totally gone and is still re. She also explained that it has worn off as her and Pietro's, who is played by Aaron Johnson voices h to sound similar so as to make sure that two sound related. She also supported her statement by saying that since she is a part of an American sitcom in WandaVision, her dialect has to be more American and it lightened up with time. 

"So we created se sound changes that worked for Aaron’s British accent going to Slovakia basically and my American accent so that we sounded related. It lightened up when she started living in States, and in WandaVision she is playing role of being in an American sitcom and so it’s t gone. It is absolutely still re", said Elizabeth.
