Amitabh Bachchan ’s grandkids trolled him for Kalki 2898 AD
In the latest episode of KBC16, Amitabh Bachchan spoke to contestant Trishul Singh Choudhary and shared that he had watched a Hollywood sci-fi film with his grandchildren but didn’t understand it. His grandkids jokingly responded, “Even we didn’t understand Kalki,” which caused a big laugh in the audience.
Amitabh Bachchan has three grandchildren: Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and Aaradhya Bachchan, though he didn’t specify which of them watched the film with him. As the socials of the show shared the clip on Instagram it went viral.
Kalki 2898 AD was released globally on 27 June 2024 and features Amitabh Bachchan in the role of Ashwatthama. He stars alongside Prabhas , Deepika Padukone , and Kamal Haasan in this Nag Ashwin-directed blockbuster, one of the year's biggest hits.
When Amitabh Bachchan shared his reaction to the idea of Kalki 2898 AD
Amitabh Bachchan recently expressed his surprise at Nag Ashwin’s vision for Kalki 2898 AD. During a press conference promoting the film, Amitabh shared that he was initially astonished by the concept. "When Nag Ashwin explained his idea to me, I was left wondering, ‘What is Nagi drinking?’" he said, amusing Rana and the rest of the cast.
He went on to describe the film as "outrageous" with unbelievable visuals. Amitabh praised Ashwin's ability to bring his futuristic vision to life, saying, "Every idea he had, he made it a reality on screen." He concluded by stating that being part of the project was an unforgettable experience.
