Why did y recast Crown?
According to a report by NYtimes, Peter Morgan revealed his plan about cast of Crown. He said that with every season characters' age increased and to keep up real essence of characters he wanted to change his actors every two seasons. He said that by season three series reached 1963-64 era and Claire Foy didn’t fit in naturally to play that age. He said y didn’t want to be silly with makeup and recasting was a more sensible move.

After season three’s recast, Crown season 4 cast h same actors. While almost whole cast was revamped in season three, season four didn’t have same turnover. Crown season 4 actors remained same from season 3 but Crown season 4 characters did see some notable and exciting new ditions. characters of young Princess Diana and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher are played by Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson respectively. se two new ditions have ded a whole new flavour to cast of Crown season 4.
