Beware: Fake government websites promising jobs doing rounds on internet; PIB fact checks

Cautioning people against various scam, the fact checking unit of PIB said many fake government websites are doing rounds on the internet promising jobs.

In efforts to make people aware of scams, fact-checking unit of PIB informed citizens that in name of government schemes, various fraudsters are misusing name of official government websites by imitating m. Furr urging to avoid se fake websites, fact-checking unit of agency warned people to not share ir personal information with anyone.

Cautioning people against ongoing scam, fact-checking agency said that many fake government websites are doing rounds on internet promising jobs and various benefits.

It furr warned people against a fake government website on National Technical Textile Mission (NTTM) which was offering jobs to youth. 

agency furr listed anor fake website named after government’s integrated scheme for school education, ‘Samagrah Shikh Abhiyan’, which was promised several positions.

Listing or fake websites, cbse.govt.com and rte.gov.org.in, fact-checking agency said that fraudsters are asking students to pay registration fees.
