Fact check: A recent viral video on social media was suggesting that people from Brazil have participated in India's light off moment has been proven wrong.

Recently, coronavirus outbreak has resulted in a number of fake stories being circulated on social. While some of se stories promise an unbeatable cure to coronavirus and ors conspire origin of it. But one common link between all se stories doing rounds on social media is that y are unverified and fake pieces of information. A new video with false claims has w gone viral on social media.

Recently, PM Narendra Modi h appealed Indian citizens to light candles, lamps or turn on mobile phone flashes in order to mark war against coronavirus. w, a video going viral on internet is claiming that people from Brazil also observed this activity. video shows Brazilian people on streets with ir phone flashlights on and playing music on streets.

Various sources have confirmed w that video is fake. Though Brazilan citizens did take to streets and lit ir flashlights, it wasn't done on April 4, 2020. original video was posted on Facebook over two weeks ago. act of Brazilian citizens coming toger to lit torches of ir mobile phones h connection with Pm Narendra Modi appealing Indian citizens to do same.
